For the past few days I've been considering restarting both my Mixes and starting over. There's a couple reasons why. What first made me consider it was thinking about my tamagotchi character history list. Color tamas evolve very fast compared to the vintages/connections with it usually taking about 4 days per generation on color tamas. That's gonna increase my total number of raised characters extremely fast. While having a high number is nice it kind of ruins the list and all the work I've done with vintages and connections. So I will probably split my character history list into a few more separate ones. I'll still keep the one with all versions on it for easy reference when looking back through my tama blog. But I'll probably make another one with just vintage/connections on it and another for the color versions. Or maybe I'll split the vintage and connection into their own list as well. Anyway the problem with the Mixes is there's not really names for the mixed characters you raise. Yeah you could combine names of the parents to make your own name for it but it will be confusing when looking at the list. So for the mixes I thought about making a visual chart showing every characters mixed forms from baby to adult. I even messed around and figured out how I want to do it. Below is a example of how I plan on doing it. I'll be able to fit 4 generations per image with the first 4 spots being the baby - adult stages then the final 5th spot being who that tama married. For the character that my tama married I'll probably use actual artwork to tell them apart more easily. For each of my mixed character's stages of growth I'm going to use cropped images of the tamas sprite on the first page of the status screen. It shows their sprite on a white background so it will be easier to see. I haven't been taking these pictures of the status screen sprites so far so it's difficult to make a character history for my previous generations. So I figured I'll restart my mixes and make a nice looking character history then figure out another method to show my previous gens. I also figured I'd take the time to figure out the teen care requirements for the Anniversary Mix which on one has done yet. They'll only really work on the first generation but it's still nice to know the requirements. I took the batteries out of my regular Mix while I work on figuring out the Mix Anniversary teens. So far I figured out 2 teens. The first is Maimaitchi to get him/her you need 6+ care misses and happiness below 20. Maimaitchi replaces Waamuwaamutchi from the regular Mix.

3/1/17Finished figuring out the Tamagotchi Mix Anniversary teen growth requirements. I was even able to make a growth chart thanks to an awesome app I found that let's me make charts and stuff. The growth chart I made has everything except the adults on it. And being the tama nerd I am I also collected most of the 1st generation non-mixed baby/child/teen character's sprites. Gonna take a break from both Mixes and probably all color tamas for a bit and focus on the connections. Whenever I decide to start my Mixes back up I'll be starting everything over from gen 1. Those Mixes took a lot of work to blog about. Tamagotchi V3:Jake my Nikatchi became the adult Megatchi. He's currently 8 years old with a baby girl. Tamagotchi V2:Started my V2 back up. I left off on the 17th generation with Max my Kuchipatchi and his baby boy. Then I started the 18th generation. I named the baby boy Cody and he later became the child Hitodetchi. He's now a teen, a 1 year old Proppeloretchi with 5 training bars. Tamagotchi V1:Bitt evolved into Hanatchi again so my method works! Glad I accidentally stumbled onto this method. He had a baby girl and when it was time to start the next generation the batteries ran out again...luckily this time it didn't reset on me and I was able to start the next generation. I named the baby girl May. I decided to follow my method again to see if I can get Androtchi. Who is Hanatchi's replacement on even generations and the other V1 adult I still haven't gotten. My method worked just fine and she became Androtchi. Her growth went from baby > Marutchi > Oniontchi > Androtchi. She's currently 4 years old. Angelgotchi:Started up my angelgotchi a few days ago, not to raise it but to attempt to get the raiseable Lucky Unchi-Kun (lucky poo with the face). You can get the lucky poo death screen by doing absolutely nothing it's entire life but getting the one you can raise is extremely hard. The only way of getting the raiseable one is if you get lucky and the baby Obaketchi2 does not evolve into a child Maruten like normal after a hour. Instead Obaketchi2 will stay as a baby and you can continue to care for it. After a certain amount of days of caring for the baby Obaketchi2 it will evolve into the raiseable Lucky Unchi-Kun. This happening is extremely low. I've been starting the angel, turning the sound off, waiting a hour, and if it evolves I reset and try again. So far I've gone through 17 resets and still no luck. Going to continue for a bit longer and hope I can get him.

3/30/17Its been almost a month since my last post! I was playing Digimon World Next Order for PS4 and had my tamas paused. I wanted to focus on that so I paused my V2 and V3 whom just evolved into adults at the time. I am very pleased with who they became and I definitely want to take the time to enjoy them properly. More on that in a bit. So for once this is a "catch up" blog post thats not just because I was lazy! I just beat the Digimon game recently so it's back to tamas! I think I'll even talk about the game at the end of this blog post. Quick note on the angelgotchi. I sorta gave up on trying for the raiseable lucky poo at least for now. Tamagotchi V2:Cody my Proppeloretchi became Toratchi! A character I always wanted to get but was never lucky enough. He's one of the few adults that only appeared on the V2 and don't have any official artwork. All that exist is the sprites on the tamagotchi. Someone from the tamagotchi groups did make Toratchi raiseable on the Tamagotchi P's but it requires a computer and a compatible infrared phone. They made their own artwork for him based on a item from the circus deco pierce. There is a stuffed tiger item and I believe it's even called Toratchi. I took that non official artwork and altered it so the star cheeks weren't there. I think that's more of how he'd look on the V2. Here's what I wrote down on how I got him: 1. Played some games to fill hearts. (Fed favorite food as baby) During the teen stage: 1. Kept Hungry full but left Happy empty. 2. Get 1 care miss from letting Happy hearts empty. 3. After the care miss fill 1 Happy heart. 4. Keep them asleep until it's time to evolve. When I woke him up when he was 4 years old he turned into Toratchi. His stats were 36 lbs and 7 training bars. Tamagotchi V3:Jake left and I started the 26th generation with his baby girl who I named Chloe. She became a Tamatchi > Hashitamatchi > Bunbuntchi. What's weird is I did pretty much exactly what I did on my V2 for how I got Toratchi. Bunbuntchi is actually the replacement for Toratchi on the V3. They are both the 3rd even generation "healthy" adults. So now I'm wondering if it could be possible to figure out methods to help get each character? I'll definitely have to do some more experiments. Tamagotchi V1:May my Androtchi left and I now am on the 3rd generation with a baby girl named Daisy. After naming the baby I took out the batteries for now. Morino:Dennis and Matt wanted to do a Morino hatch so I joined in. I raised him as I was playing my Digimon game but once he became an adult I paused him. I wanted to get Gejitchi but ended up getting the other secret character which I also never had before. I usually accidentally forget to switch the food once the Morino evolves into the child Imotchi but this time I remembered. I can't say for sure but it seems if you use the starting food (the leaf) even once after it becoming a child it will affect who you get. You'll want to feed ONLY candy after it becomes Imotchi. During the baby stage I left his hungry hearts stay low so once he evolved I could get a head start on increasing weight. To get Gejitchi I needed about 50mg but he ended up going into the cocoon before I got it that high. It was only around 40-47mg. I put the cocoon to warm but later forgot to change it and the next morning I found it was maxed on the warm side. So I switched it to cold for the rest of the day until he came out......and he emerged as a Imotchi, the child stage again. Turns out this means I accidentally did the first step in getting Helumetchi the 2nd secret character on the morino. I then used the tips on the tamagotchi Facebook groups from someone who got Helumetchi. They said once he comes out of the cocoon the first time to get 1 care miss and miss 1 attack. Then reduce weight to 30mg. When he goes back into the cocoon turn the temp to warm for around 10 hours then to cold for the rest. When he came out he was a Helumetchi. He is 5 years 80mg. Helumetchi The Helmet Tamagotchi "He lives in the mountains, and spends his nights digging for treasure. Drinks, smokes, and grinds his teeth when he's asleep."

4/29/17Been slacking a lot lately with no motivation. Paused my V2 and V3 because I wanted to enjoy the characters I got on them for awhile but they ended up being paused for weeks. So I eventually decided to just take the batteries out for now. I'll continue raising them another time. Morino:Helumetchi died and I restarted. I messed up a lot this run with the care and accidentally feeding him leaves at the child stage. He went into the cocoon around 40mg and became Tentotchi. Tentotchi The Ladybug Tamagotchi "A charming and lively bug that lives in sunflower meadows, and makes a living through selling safflower oil."

5/11/17Morino:Tentotchi died then I hatched a new one on May 4th. I'm trying to get the last characters I need which are Koganetchi and Gejitchi. I started taking really good notes for future use. He went into the cocoon at 40mg and ended up becoming the secret character Futagaritchi the twin ants. They died at 8 years old. Here's my notes for how I got them: 11:52am - Hatched (May 4) 11:52am - Evolved to Imotchi / 1yr (May 5) Imotchi - Feed ONLY candy. Don't miss any attacks. Hearts dropped to -2 once or twice. 11:52am - Cocoon / 40mg (May 7) (Cold) 11:52am - 9pm (Hot) 9pm - 9am (Cold) 9am - 10am (Hot) 10am - 11:52am Futagaritchi/Twinaritchi The Twin Ants Tamagotchi "These bugs always come in pairs, for friendship and to survive. They can't resist sweet foods."
