11/1/18
In this blog I'll be talking about video game related stuff. I thought about it for a while then decided to separate the game stuff from my Tamagotchi blog. The reason being I didn't want to clutter up my Tamagotchi blog with too much non virtual pet stuff. So with making a separate blog I'm free to post as much content as I want. There were only 2 games I think I originally posted in my tamagotchi blog. They were Monster Rancher 2 and the Dragon Quest Monsters 1 & 2 PS1 remake. Whenever I get around to playing those again I'll be continuing here. Mabe with a small recap.
The first game I'll probably be talking about is the Spyro Reignited Trilogy that's finally releasing in 13 days. I definitely want to record my thoughts as I experience the remaster for the first time.
Heres some other games I'm considering eventually blogging about:
1. Tiny Farm - A mobile app game I've played regularly for over 4 years. Theres constant new events every 1-2 weeks.
2. Animal Crossing on Nintendo Switch - This is supposed to come out next year. I'll definitely be blogging regularly on my progress and the hilarious craziness me and my 2 female gamer friends get into.
3. Neopets - I wanna get back into this. Next month is December so that means the Advent Calendar, which is a perfect time to start.
Unlike my Tamagotchi blog, this one wont be all just me recording progress. If I find a game that works well with regularly posting progress updates, then I will. Otherwise I'll just be randomly talking about games I'm playing. Like if I have any worthwhile thoughts, if I discover any useful tricks, if I have any angry rants, ect.

11/14/18Spyro Reignited Trilogy:I am in LOVE with this game! Thankfully we were able to get wifi back right before it came out. There was a 30GB update required to play the 2nd and 3rd game. If I had to use my phones mobile hotspot I was looking at a 5-9 day update. With wifi it took a little under a hour to download. Even though my favorite game of the trilogy is Spyro 3, I started with the 2nd game. Got through the first homeworld then went to Spyro 3 and completed the first 2 homeworlds. The next day I started Spyro 1 and beat it in a single sitting. Only took a little under 5 hours, 4:41:20 was my exact time. I got 97% completed. I did everything except the "all in one go" part of each speedway. As usual I dont do the parts that I'm not good at and that will send me into a rage. Always hated racing and time based challenges in games. The games all play really well. They have made a few changes to make all 3 games consistent. The roll move from Spyro 1 is now in all 3 games and Sparx starts off with the ability to point to gems in all 3 games as well. You can also earn extra lives in Spyro 1 by flaming enough fodder like in the other games. They also added skill points to Spyro 1. I was able to get all of Spyro 1's skill points as they were incredibly easy. Each game has 2 pages of skill points that unlock a part of the art gallery once you complete a page. None of the skill points added to Spyro 1 involved speedways which was surprising. Instead they were mostly beat a boss without getting hit, find the hidden extra object, and other extremely easy stuff.

11/18/18Spyro Reignited Trilogy:I played through Spyro 2 and 3 up to the final boss. A lot of people were complaining about how hard Gulp is now. I was a little worried going into the fight but he wasnt too bad. It's just his attacks are much harder to avoid now but they seem to drop much more fodder now. I discovered that charging in a small circle whenever Gulp fires his lasers makes dodging those easy. His body slam tho can be hard. Some people mentioned changing towards him to dodge these but I haven't really tried it. Another boss that seemed to be changed was in Spyro 3. Spike the boss of the 2nd homeworld was made so much easier. He was pretty hard in the originals. In the original he fired his laser gun way too quick. The first part of the fight requires you to charge rocks at him but that requires you to get behind it and aim at him. Because he would fire his gun so quick it would usually result in him destroying the rock as your about to hit it, hitting you, or both of you taking damage. I found that jumping to the side to dodge his laser blast helped. It gave you enough time to aim at hit before he fired again. In Reignited I went into this fight expecting a hard time but beat him quick and easy. I had planned on trying out the newly added roll move from Spyro 1 to dodge his attacks but I didnt even get a chance to as he was much easier. The 3rd boss Scorch I didn't even take damage on. To bad there was no skill point or trophy for it. I ended up beating Gnasty Gnorc in Spyro 1. Then in Spyro 2 and 3 I left off at the final bosses.

3/2/19Tiny FarmNew 2 week event just started on 2/27. It's a lucky bag event also with a point exchange. Lucky bag events are where you collect event coins to open bags containing a random event animal, event items, and other junk. To get 1 event coin you need to collect from the event production decoration once the timer is up and give love to animals 30 times. Point exchange is just do the listed methods to earn points then spend them on the items listed on the event page. I was able to finish the point exchange bit pretty much within the first few hours. Since I never cook, I had a stockpile of sugarcane required to make the sweet candy so I made and ate about 500. That earned me enough points to get everything I needed from the point exchange. Collecting all 5 candy dispensers also gives you another event production deco. I also bought the 2nd production deco using premium currency so now I have all 3 from this event. Now I need to get the candy shop owner raccoon from the lucky bags and maybe some other candy decorations I dont own yet if I'm lucky. As for what my farms look like and my stats, I'll save that for my next updates on Tiny Farm. I need to get working on redecorating my maps tho. Mainly my main farm and turtle island.

3/3/19 Part 1Time to get some of the basic stuff out of the way on 2 topics I'll be talking about in this blog so I'm not doing insane amounts of explaining every post. Tiny Farm:I've been playing Tiny Farm daily for like 6 years now. The earliest I remember was a winter bingo event from January 2013. There are constant events and no down time. Each event last either 1 or 2 weeks and occasionally theres more than one going on at a time. I'm currently Lv.68 (current max is 85). I'm a pretty high level player but I dont spend any real money on the game. I did blow $100 many years back to buy enough premium currency to fully upgrade the 2 Bell Trees. Bells are the premium currency in Tiny Farm. Each of the 2 fully upgraded Bell Trees produces 1 bell every 5 hours. So I can earn 2-8 bells per day depending on how often I get on. Theres currently 6 maps with each having a unique feature or gimmick. Below I'm going to quickly mention the feature of each map and show what mine currently looks like. I still have redecorating to do. Main farm - The original map. Here you can use the Breeding Barn to breed your animals with other players for a chance at getting another. Theres an Adventures Cabin where you send your animals to get currency, eggs, or production deco time shortening tickets. A House of Gifts that gives you special rewards when you reach certain levels. A Village Rest Area to use with the village you are in. It's used as extra animal storage and produces currency depending on how many animals you have stored in it. And a Glass Greenhouse that grows crops to use for cooking. Tiny Beach - Here you can catch fish from fishing boats and visit the trading vessel. At the trading vessel you can buy older not currently available decorations for slightly higher price and buy/sell cooking dishes. Toy Village - Not much going on here. You can get a random deco out of a small section by spending some hearts and coins. I own it all besides the incredibly rare snow globe that produces premium currency. Tiny Zoo - I love this map because of its special feature. Here you place your animals in cages and they will earn you coins and exp even while your not playing. It can hold up to 10 hours worth and each animal has it's own gold/exp earnings stat when placed in cages. I fill mine with the best animals I could. I use heroics (which you can only own 1 of each) and the rest is Talking Unicorns. Every hour I earn +5,519 coins and +8,471 exp. Secret Valley - There is no special gimmick/feature to do here anymore. There used to be a minigame here and at the zoo with special rewards but a recent update changed this. Now these two minigames are seperate from the maps and work differently than before. Turtle Island - The newest map with a bunch to do. Here you can grow the Dream Tree that produces pieces of life. Theres a Ocean Management Center where you can have a turtle dive to find faded coral, fish, currency, and other stuff. You use the pieces of life to clean the coral and earn top shells. The top shells are used to buy the newest animal species. They are the otter, seagull, harpy seal, and hippo. There is also a Tradeing Center where you can get basic, event, and legendary animals. The trading materials can be literally anything. From the various currencies, animals, and decorations. Holy crap that was a lot and that's just scratching the surface.
