2/27/22New Pokemon games were just announced called Pokemon Scarlet & Violet that will release later this year. Christ I haven't even finished Brilliant Diamond or bought Pokémon Legends Arceus yet! The only new pokemon revealed were the starters. The grass cat Sprigatito, the fire croc Fuecoco, and the water duck Quaxly. As for which starter I like so far I'm not sure. Based on just looks I am mixed between Sprigatito and Quaxly. The fire starter looks a bit to goofy. I'll have to wait till we learn more. I usually pick water starters with a few exceptions but I do like this gens grass starter... but if it ends up like Popplio from Sun and Moon and becomes too girly looking pokemon then I'm out. I rather have a starter that doesn't lean too heavily into looking like a specific gender.

3/12/22 Part 1Monster Rancher 2 DX:I finally played and beat Monster Rancher 2 for the first time. I've owned the original game on Playstation since childhood but never beat it mostly because my disc seems messed up. At a specific point the game freezes its still going but the menu doesn't pop up so I'm just stuck watching my monster endlessly walking around. I originally wanted to keep updating on my progress but I pretty much ended up speedrunning the game. I beat the game with my first monster then by my 3rd I already had every breed unlocked. Since I beat the game so fast I'm instead going to go over every monster I raised and what all they helped me accomplish. First things first before I even started raising my first monster I burned through a TON of Sueki Suezos. This special Suezo only lives for 1 week but has 999 Life, 999 Def, 300 Pow/Int, and 1 Spd. I used this monster to make enough money for me to raise my first official monster using the no rest method which cost 15,600g per year. Once I had the money I needed I started raising my first monster a Zuum named Zuum. With this monster I beat the big 4 tournaments, the Legend Cup, and Zuum was entered into the Hall of Fame. I unlocked a ton of breeds with this monster over the 5yrs I had him. I unlocked Gali/Henger/Mew/Worm (IMa vs. FIMBA Meet), Phoenix, Mock (Got seeds), Baku/Golem (Barn upgrade), Wracky, Joker, Dragon, Centaur, Bajarl, Metalner, and Ghost. The second monster I raised was a Frog Hopper (Hopper x ???) I named Froggy. For the next few breed unlocks I needed to raise any Hopper to B rank, have 0 stress and fatigue, and they will dig a hot spring in winter. That unlocks both Niton and Undine and is the first step of unlocking Zilla. Once the hot springs were unlocked by doing the Torble Coast errantry with a rank B or higher you can run into the Zilla King. If you beat him you will get the item to unlock Zilla. Zuum was the one to beat the Zilla King for me but it still took a ton of resets. To unlock the next few monster breeds I needed a expedition monster to go find their unlock items. Zuum and Froggy weren't up to the task because to obtain these items you need a very high INT stat of at least 600. To do well on expeditions you need a monster with 300+ LIF (Can explore longer), 600+ INT (also helps finds items easier), and 400+ POW (to remove obstacles). The best monster to raise for expeditions was Blue Thunder a Centaur x ??? breed because he has high power and intelligence stat gains. I named him Thundor and it only took like 2.5 years to get the setup i needed for expeditions. With his help I unlocked Jill, Durahan, and Ducken. Afterwards he became my money maker. I would take him out of the freezer to participate in the Torles and Kawrea expeditions and find a bunch of valuable items to sell. I usually just skipped the Parepare expedition because there wasn't much money to make from it. The only valuable item to find there is the gold peach which adds +50 weeks of lifespan but can only be used once per monster. Thanks to Thundor I made over 900,000g thats enough for over 57 years of doing the no rest method which is far more than I need...although I am kind of addicted to hoarding money in this game now.

3/12/22 Part 2Monster Rancher 2 DX:The final monster to unlock Beaclon looked overly complicated but was way to easy. All I had to do was raise any Worm to 5 years old, feed it at least 30 cup jelly, 80+ loyalty, and 0 stress then it would cocoon and emerge as a Beaclon. To unlock this monster all I had to do was feed it cup jelly and rest it every week until I reached the age requirement. Now that I had every breed unlocked my next step was to fill out my monster card catalog. This was extremely time consuming because not only did you have to obtain the monster from the shrine but you had to keep it to get the card. This ment I had to name them, throw them into the freezer, then manually delete each one. I did all 400 or so monsters but then there were a special few "boss" cards. These were special /??? breeds that can't be shrined until you own the card. To obtain it you need to encounter them during errantry. You don't need to defeat them to obtain their card so I used the remaining lifespan of Froggy to get these. He defeated about half then lost to the other half. This left me with 414 cards and only 1 more to obtain. The problem was I need to beat the Legend Cup again and it can't be with Zuum because once they beat it they can't enter again. So I raised a new Zuum named Zuumy and beat the Legend Cup again to get that final card White Suezo. With that the game is 100% complete. I didn't need anymore money but that didn't stop me from setting up another expedition monster. I raised another Blue Thunder Centaur I named Money-Maker. This time it took me a few months longer to get him set up because I raised his stats a bit more to make expeditions easier. I ended off with a whopping 1,268,950g, all 415 monster cards, and 2 pure bred Zuums entered in the hall of fame. Monster Rancher 2 is 100% complete although sometime I should get around to raising more of the breeds.

4/25/22Tiny Farm:And Tiny Farm is over...no more updates and new events on the game. The biggest reason to why they decided to end it was more so due to how bad they fucked it up due to stupid decisions over the years more than the lack of players. When they did that big change to the game to "make it better and easy to develop for" ended up doing a lot of damage and that itself made people quit. They said they are keeping the servers up so you can still play it but no more updates but who knows how long they will stay up. I'm still playing but much more half assed then before. I need to do a final redesign of all my maps and do a update on my total progress. I've been playing this mobile game for over 8+ years now and I haven't missed a single event so I definitely want to do at least one final update on it. Monster Rancher:A new Monster Rancher game was announced in Japan. Its a new mobile game called LINE: Monster Rancher and will release sometime this year. I'd rather have a real new game over a mobile game but its better than nothing. I just hope it will be a free to play app. If it is then I can easily download and play it reguardless of the region I'm in...but if its a paid app then getting it is much harder as theres all kinds of extra hoops you have to jump through to get it.

4/28/22Neopets:The Festival of Neggs is here! This year its being held in the Neovian Campsite which is in Neovia part of the Haunted Woods. So its like a spooky easter egg hunt this year. Info on the Festival of Neggs: "During each day of the event, a new clue will appear at the bottom of the main Festival page to direct you to a new hidden negg location. After finding each negg at the locations below, you will be offered the choice between three random neggs for your efforts (there are five possible neggs, but you will only have a choice of three per day)" The rewards you could get each day by selecting which negg you want are shown above (the right half of the image). None of these rewards were very good although that stamp was worth a easy 91,000np. I managed to get 2 so I sold one and put the other in my stamp album. Upon finding the last negg it turns out to be dehydrated and spoiled. Unsure of whats going on you return to camp and discuss whats going on then follow the trail of glowing goo. "Nice find! Now, which- wait a minute! These neggs were all dried out too? This doesn't make any sense! I unpacked and hid these myself. And what is all of this glowing slime? I should call in a specialist to help us identify it... Hmmm we need to have a talk with Tippens. I am starting to think there may be something to this ghost story after all... I'll ask him to meet us back at the Festival Campsite. Please join us soon as you can!"The trail of goo then lead us to discover a new petpet called the Talpidat! Talpidats are able to swiftly burrow using oversized paws and this mischievous creature also employs needle-like teeth to drain neggs dry! As a reward you were able to select one of three Talpidats. It was a difficult choice but I chose the Spring Talpidat...then i went and bought the other two for like 500k-600k each. So now I have all three. The final rewards were just given out today. If you collected all 15 neggs on their release day, you will receive the full rewards. This is why I'm glad this time I managed to be notified on the event before it started so I wouldn't miss a day. The final rewards for not missing a day are shown below on the upper left of the image. I recieved a new avatar, collectable charm, background, Talpidat plushie, site theme, and one of each of the actual neggs used in this event.
