Tamagotchi Mix:

I married him to Guriritchi and started the 4th generation they had a orange baby girl. She later became an orange Tantotchi finally loosing that berry head piece and now having Guriritchi's acorn head.

I fed her 5 Lemon Mousse at the restaurant changing her color to yellow. I then changed the wallpaper to the Forest Living and had her play with the forest doll a bunch until the town changed to the forest type. Apparently if you change your town theme to match one of the parents the baby will inherent more of that parents traits. Not sure if this is actually true or not but it's worth a try.

Yesterday she became the teen Mokokotchi gaining Guriritchi's curly flower tail. Then later that evening my Mix Anniversary came yesterday so I started it up just so I could unlock the last 2 locations on my regular mix. The first of the last 2 locations to unlock was the Mermaid Palace. To unlock that I had to connect with 3 different Mixes then go to they backyard. Luckily you only need 2 mixes to do this you just have to reset the other 3 times and use 3 different user names. Once all that was done I took Mokokotchi outside where we found a turtle who was stuck on his back and needed help. After helping him get back on his feet he had us climb on his back and took us to the Mermaid Palace which also unlocked a new icon banner.

At the Mermaid Palace we visited the banquet to get the conch horn needed to unlock the final location. We didn't get it at first I had to visit a few times before they gave it to me.

Back at home I temporarily switched the wallpaper to the Gozaru Living then used the conch horn. A ninja dropped down from the ceiling and brought us through a secret passageway behind the scroll on the wall to Gozaru Village. Now I finally have all locations are unlocked!

Today she became an adult but still looks pretty much the same as the previous generation. The only difference is she has Guriritchi's head and tail. I then went to Mermaid Palace and married her to Jellytchi. This time I used the cheaper ring but still increased there friendship to max like usual. They had a baby boy who later became a Mittsupotchi. I'm hoping for the adult to look more like Jellytchi so I changed my town theme to the sea type by changing the wallpaper and playing with toys from the Mermaid Palace.

Tamagotchi Mix Anniversary:

I started my Anniversary Mix today after getting my blog caught up. I got a baby boy Petitchi. Haven't seen Petitchi since the Connection Era on the V2 and Music Star (V6). Like the previous anniversary color tama the iD L 15th anniversary version, this one has many characters from older tamagotchis. Unlike the iD L 15th anniversary that had a mix of older tamas from the vintage & connection era the 20th Anniversary Mix seems to have more tamas from the connection era and a few from older color versions. And just like the 15th anniversary the baby, child, and teen tamas are all replaced with these older characters with a couple old adults.

He later evolved into Ahirukutchi from high happiness. Ahirukutchi appeared on the previous anniversary tama too but on this one he might be even cuter than before. I actually have a plan with who I want on the 20th anniversary mix. I want to start out with Shimashimatchi who is only available on the first generation along with Makiko. Just like the regular Mix there's 1 male and 1 female adult only available on the first generation by getting 7 or more care misses. These characters don't appear at any of the locations so the only way to get mixes of them is by getting then on generation 1. Then once I unlock UraTama Town I want to mate with UraTama Togetchi to try and get some mixes with him. Lots of Ura Togetchi mixes are adorable from what I've seen. Just like my regular Mix we still have that annoying snowball throwing guy and his snowman pal to deal with. Always when I'm busy caring for the tama or taking pictures he comes and starts assaulting us with snowballs and gets away before my tama can get to him.

Devilgotchi:
Clione Deviltchi is 18 years old today and still really easy to care for. I've kept her DP around 0-10.

Tamagotchi P1:
Mametchi is 20 years today and really needy and Maskutchi is 15 today.

Tamagotchi Mix:

He became the teen Soyofuwatchi and played with more items from the Mermaid Palace in hopes of inheriting most of Jellytchis traits.

His adult form took me by surprise. I definitely wasn't expecting him to look more like his grandmother. The acorn hat he had during the teen stage changed into Jellytchi's starfish hat. I thought as they grow up they slowly inherent the traits they will have when becoming an adult looks like that's not always the case. I decided to stay with the Mermaid Palace and increase his friendship with Kotohimetchi. Her favorite item was cards so my tama played cards with Motetchi betting candy. The first round my tama lost but the second round he beat Motetchi and impressed Kotohimetchi. Look at that sassy face when he knows he's about to win haha. I didn't marry him off to Kotohimetchi yet, that will be in my next post.

Tamagotchi Mix Anniversary:

Ahirukutchi became the teen Kilalatchi from taking good care. I think Kilalatchi is the replacement for Haretchi on the mix anniversary needing 0-3 care misses and happiness above 20. He was the teen I wanted I love Kilalatchi but he hasn't appeared on that many tamagotchis. He first appeared on the Tama-Go then later on the Tamagotchi iD I believe. I don't have the iD so this is my first time being able to raise him on a color tama. I kept his hungry meter around 1-3 when he was Ahirukutchi so once he became a teen I could easily start getting care misses for Shimashimatchi. Just like all the other color tamas that use care misses to determine growth it's easier to just use the hungry meter rather than the happiness.

I heard beeping during the night after all my tamas were asleep. It was Kilalatchi having a nightmare. I heard about this animation that occasionally happens but this was my first time having it happen. Kilalatchi was dreaming about wondering around town then being confronted by ghost. Kilalatchi seemed to be okay with it jumping up and down smiling with the ghost then the dream ended.

A day later after getting more than the required 7 care misses her evolved into Shimashimatchi. Who as I mentioned before can only be gotten on the first generation he doesn't appear at any of the various locations. Now that I have my first Mix Anniversary adult it's time to start unlocking locations but first I'm going to need some more money. So as I'm playing the games I figured I'd talk about each one.

The first game is "20th Kusudama" which is a guessing game where you guess the correct kusudama (prize ball). If you guess correctly the game will continue but picking the wrong one will cause a pan to fall on your tamas head ending the game. Depending on how many correct guesses you got you can win 0-200 gotchi.

The second game is called "Best Shot" where you play as a photographer taking pictures at a parade. The goal is to get the cursor into the red so the Royal servant will take a better picture. This game is very easy as you don't need to get the cursor at the highest possible. Just as long as it's somewhere in the red you'll take a good enough picture to be able to continue. I played this one to rack up money as its easier. You can win 0-200 gotchi per game.

Now that I had enough money to do everything I needed I started unlocking locations. Which I was able to unlock 5 out of the 7 on just my first generation. For the first one the Laboratory all I needed was to go to the garden with an adult tama on generation 1. There I met Professor Banzo and his assistant Mikachu who needed help repairing their spaceship.

Next location to unlock was Flower Hills which just like on the regular Mix only required you to remodel your room to the Flower Wallpaper for 1,500gp. After doing so a bunch of pink flowers sprouted up from the floor before a tidal wave of pink, yellow, & orange flowers and petals appeared transporting us outside of Flower Hills.

Next up was Rainbow Hills. I first had to buy the Flower Seeds from Flower Hills then plant them during a clear day outside between 7am-3pm. I just temporarily changed the date to a few months ahead to get the clear weather needed like before. After a few tries of planting the seeds, a giant beanstalk grew up into the sky where Rainbow Hills is located.

Gozaru Village was next. The requirements were the same as before: Remodel your room to the Gozaru wallpaper then use the Conch Horn. But on the anniversary mix the way of obtaining the conch horn is different. To get it you need to win the swim race at Makkakka Town but you won't unlock that location until at least generation 3. The easier way of obtaining it was to get it on the regular mix and transfer it over which is what I did. After getting the conch horn from my other tama some ninjas appeared and took us to Gozaru Village.

The last location I unlocked was the Gotchi King's Castle. To unlock it I had to buy the toy Ta-Matreshka dolls and bring them to Tamagotchi Town. There as my tama played with them the Gotchi King came by being carried by 4 royal servants. After a short conversation he brought us to his castle.

I unlocked 2 new icon banners. The first is the "1996 banner" from unlocking the Laboratory. This definitely has to be one of the BEST icon banners. I love it! It's based on the original vintage tamagotchi the P1. It's white with colorful sprites of the P1 adults and stuff using the original pixel style. I immediately switched to this one not sure if there will be a better one. I think there might be a cool one from unlocking UraTama Town? The 2nd banner is the "Royal banner" from unlocking the Gotchi King's Castle. It's red with an image of a large castle and crowns.

I haven't decided on who to marry my Shimashimatchi to yet but my next post I'll have decided and have started the next generations on my Mixes.

Devilgotchi:
Clione Deviltchi is 21 years old today and still easy to care for. Not sure if they slowly start needing more and more care as they get older like the P1/P2 or if they'll stay the same then just suddenly die one day. I've still been keeping her DP at 0-10.

Tamagotchi P1:
Both my P1's died today. Mametchi died at 21 years old and Maskutchi passed at age 17. I didn't restart either of them yet but I'll probably restart just one of them over the next few days.

1/21/17 (Part 1 of 2)

I'm going to try something a bit different for today's blog post. Rather than having a single post for 1/12/17 I'm going to split it into 2 parts. Normally I wouldn't need to do this but these Mixes are making my post huge thanks to all the pictures. It's kinda hard to not add pictures because of the mixing gimmick of these new versions and I want to show each mixed character I get. Plus the fact it only takes 3 days at the least to go through 1 generation on the mix...the images and work just quickly piles up. Just the part for my regular Tamagotchi Mix Melody today has 9 images just by itself. So I'm going to try this out and see how I like it. I'm still experimenting with how I want to do my Tamagotchi blog to make it the best I possibly can.

Tamagotchi Mix:

I changed his color to blue then married him off to Kotohimetchi and they had a blue baby girl. She later grew up into Nanahotchi from having low happiness.

Yesterday was the 20th so we went to the park to see the Eco Triplets again and this time we got the Eco Forks which gives a 50% discount at the restaurant. Shortly later she evolved into Waamuwaamutchi.

Then today she became an adult. Looking mostly like Kotohimetchi bit with Jellytchi's hat. I didn't wait long before marring her. I decided on Bushinosuketchi from Gozaru Village. I used the conch horn a bunch to increase their friendship. My tama climbed on a horse while a royal servant blew the conch horn causing an army of tiny tama samurais to go after Bushinosuketchi.

They then got married and had a baby boy who later became the child Puchitomatchi. He's purple with Jellytchis hat.

I think I'm going to try for more of the traits from Bushinosuketchi. So I changed my wallpaper to the Gozaru Living and had him play with Ninja throwing stars until the town theme changed to the Gozaru village one.

Tamagotchi Mix Anniversary:

I decided on Nijifuwatchi from Rainbow Hills for him to marry and started the 2nd generation with a baby boy. It was hard to see him since Petitchi's eyes and mouth are white and his body was all white as well.

A hour later he evolved into Kuribotchi from low happiness. He is the most adorable thing I've seen yet! Just look at that cute little chubby face! Far more adorable than any previous sprites of Kuribotchi from other tamagotchis. He's a white/yellowish color with Shimashimatchi's ears.

Now that I'm on the Gen 2 I finally have an easy method for earning money. The regular Mix has Patchi Forest hot springs for easy money but that location isn't on the anniversary mix. If you change the date on the tamagotchi to between 1/1 - 1/7 and visit your tamas parents they'll give you a free 1,000gp each of those 7 days. And if your on generation 3 or later your tamas grandparents will also appear giving you an extra 1,000gp making it 2,000gp per day. This trick works on the regular mix as well. Far better method than the randomness of Patchi Forests hot springs. Now I can finally start shopping on my anniversary mix!

Yesterday was Eco Triplets day at the park so I took Kuribotchi to help clean some litter and get the first of the 3 Eco items. Just like my regular mix the first Eco item we got was the Eco Badge which just is a toy to increase happiness. Not really worthwhile since it's easier to just spam feeding them candy to raise happiness. There's no weight meter on the mixes and the only downside to feeding candy is they might get a toothache but that can easily be fixed with medicine.

A bit later after visiting the park he evolved into the teen Kingyobotchi. He is white with red Shimashimatchi ears and Nijifuwatchi wings. Its not an ugly color combo but I wouldn't say it's one of my favorites.

I figured I could probably unlock one of the 2 remaining locations now that I have plenty of money to spend. My last 2 to unlock are Makkakka Town and UraTama Town. The requirements for these two are a little odd. UraTama Town can be unlocked on the 2nd generation or later using an item bought at Makkakka Town but Makkakka Town requires you to be at least on generation 3. But there is another way to get the item to unlock UraTama Town. Since the item required is bought from the Makkakka Town shop and not a gift from that location, the park vendor Madamtchi might have it available to buy. She appears every morning between 7am-9am and sells random location specific items for a discounted price. I set my time back since I always miss her visits and was lucky she had the item I needed available the Gondola.

Okay....so the animation when unlocking UraTama Town was weird. XD My tama climbed into the Gondola and went for a ride as it was raining. Everything was good then suddenly we saw a rice ball floating by in the water with an Oyajitchi in a gondola chasing after it. After they passed us the next thing we knew we were panicking as we were caught in a rough water current leading right into the tamagotchi planet's mouth. Inside we found UraTama Town and it was unlocked. Now I've always known that UraTama Town is located inside the tama planets mouth but wtf was with the Oyajitchi bit? Just the adventures of a drunk Oyajitchi I guess. lol

Today he became an adult and looks pretty much exactly the same as the first generation. Looks exactly like Shimashimatchi just with a lighter shade of yellow and wings from Nijifuwatchi but he's so chubby you can barely see them. I still plan on getting that Ura Togetchi mix I've wanted since I got my anniversary mix. Since I had a male this generation I couldn't choose to marry Ura Togetchi since he's male also so I chose to marry the female option for UraTama Town Ura Zukyutchi. That way I'll have UraTama Town traits already in the family. I couldn't figure out what item to take that Ura Zukyutchi liked but she ended up proposing to my tama which I accepted. They had a female baby, an orange Shiropetitchi and I started the 3rd generation.

She later evolved into Sakuramotchi. She looks exactly like Sakuramotchi normally does even the same color just with ears. I went and remodeled the room to the UraTama wallpaper.

Now that I'm on the 3rd generation I can finally unlock Makkakka Town which is my last location to unlock on the anniversary mix! I took her to the restaurant and fed her 5 Watermelon Juices to change her color to red. Then all we had to do was go outside to the garden where we found a giant cork in the ground. After yanking it out red water came gushing out. As we floated along the sea of red water in a floaty Mametchi, Memetchi, and Kuchipatchi came floating by as well. Then we ended up in Makkakka Town.

I unlocked icon backgrounds for both UraTama Town and Makkakka Town. As much as I love the 1996 icon banner I went and changed it to the UraTama one for now since I plan on marrying Ura Togetchi next. The UraTama banner is definitely my 2nd favorite available on the anniversary mix.

Devilgotchi:
Clione Deviltchi passed away at age 24 on friday January 20th. Going start it back up and do another devil run in another day or so.

Tamagotchi Mix:

He became the teen Tororitchi and to continue the Gozaru Village theme he played with the picture scroll a few times. After opening the scroll a couple spirits pop out and chase him off.

His adult form looked mostly like Bushinosuketchi just with Jellytchi's hat and Guriritchis tail. I plan or mating him with Shinobinyatchi so I took him to Gozaru Village with the shuriken. Him and Shinobinyatchi watched tv as another ninja observed from the shadows. After noticing the hidden ninja my tama threw the shuriken at him causing the ninja to fall from the ceiling and hit his head before leaving. Kinda weird that he just appeared from a hole in the sky...

Tamagotchi Mix Anniversary:

She turned into Kilalatchi again with Shimashimatchis ears and Nijifuwatchis wings. I then had her play with the Lantern Flower a few times. She danced around it as it turned its light on and off.

There's still stuff I haven't checked out yet on the mixes so I took her to the Laboratory location and checked out the time machine there. She pushed the big red button to activate it then things started to go nuts. The big egg in the container with clocks on it in the back blew up revealing an old vintage tamagotchi shell then Ginjirotchi appeared to chat for a bit. Ginjirotchi on the mix is adorable! I wish he was available to raise!

When she became an adult she was a mix of Ura Zukyutchi body/head with Shimashimatchi ears/eyes and Nijifuwatchis wings. I also got her friendship up with Ura Togetchi so she can marry him in a day or two once I'm ready.

I checked out another new area of the various locations the Royal party quiz at the Gotchi Kings Castle. I know on the regular mix there's a few items you can get by checking out the areas of certain locations if your lucky (which I haven't done yet btw). But there's no information if you can get anything from the new locations on the mix anniversary. So I was curious if answering all 3 questions correctly at the royal party quiz would get you anything....turns out it doesnt. After spending a hour of messing with this trying to answer all 3 correctly and raging like crazy I finally got it...and my reward was just a "Amazing 3-stars Perfect!" from the Gotchi King. I was so pissed wasting all that time and battery life for just a dam "good job".
