1/27/17 (Part 1 of 2)Tamagotchi Mix:I married him to Shinobinyatchi and started the 8th generation. They had a all white baby boy. A hour later he evolved into Puchitomatchi who is still white with his mother's shiruken ears. I took him to Gozaru Village where we met some kind of strange scarecrow looking tamagotchi. I have no idea what it was talking about something about how shinobi and bamboo buds keep dissappearing? Least that was what Google translate app said. The next day he became a white Tororotchi with golden shuriken ears. Still with that curly flower tail from Guriritchi way back from the 5th generation. I really like the white, gold, and grey color combination on him. His adult form resembled Bushinosuketchi again. With the same color just with Shinobinyatchi's shuriken ears and eyes. Not a fan of this combo the last generation one looked much better. I plan on marrying him to Watawatatchi so I took him to Rainbow Hills and used the cloud item with her. My tama jumped onto the cloud and flew off as Watawatatchi stayed behind. Not watching where he was going he bumped into a large cloud who got angry and blew him right off the cloud. Luckily Watawatatchi was there waiting to help catch him.

1/27/17 (Part 2 of 2)Tamagotchi Mix Anniversary:Its finally time! I married her to Ura Togetchi and started the 4th generation...well actually Ura Togetchi proposed to my tamagotchi. They had a black/blue baby boy. Hoping that he ends up mostly looking like Ura Togetchi! A hour later he evolved into the good care male child Ahirukutchi with Shimashimatch's cute little ears still. I had him play with the Artificial Star toy from UraTama Town to hopefully get more Ura Togetchi traits. Taking pictures of the UraTama toys is annoying. Both the artificial star and lantern flower have a part where the screen goes black except for the tama and the toy. My phones camera just wouldn't capture it just kept getting too blurry to see it. I eventually found a way using a desk lamp behind me. It made what was on screen visible but also showed a glare and all the dust on the screen. Ugh I then took him to UraTama Town a couple times. First we visited the Ura Ta-Marina where the ura teen character Kujakutchi took us on a gondola ride through UraTama Town. We then met Ura Mametchi who I assume told us some jokes I have no idea haha. A day later he evolved into the teen Tororotchi...who has Ura Togetchi's wings! Hopefully a good sign. He was blue with dark red ears and a lighter red wings. I bought and fed him 5 Ramune Sodas from UraTama Town. I wanted to see what he would look like all blue and I assumed that was the correct item...which it was. It changed him to a more darker shade of blue. Seems like your tamagotchi can have multiple different colors and the color change foods will always change them to that color completely. I don't think there's a way to revert back to the multiple colors after changing the tamas color from foods which is a shame. Unfortunately when he became an adult he still looked more like Ura Zukyutchi. Only traits he got from his father Ura Togetchi was his eyes and hat. I do love this mixed character I got tho. I'll have to try mating with Ura Togetchi again but I can't right now. Not only because my current tama is male but it's also the fact the Mixes don't allow you to marry the same character as that tamas parents. So I decided on having him marry Mimitchi. I'm hoping for Mimitchis ears and not her body so much. I took the UFO to Tamagotchi Town where my tama and Mimitchi met these 2 little guys. After running around the UFO we all climbed inside and took off. Devilgotchi:Finally got around to doing my 2nd Devilgotchi run. Decided to start out with Devil Zuccitchi again but this time go for the low DP teen and adult. My next 2 runs after this I'll probably start out with the other baby devil, Deviltchi so I can get the remaining 2 adults. If all goes well I might end up with a new secret character this run King Deviltchi tho his requirements are a little risky to pull off. Bad care and DP over 80...definitely won't be as easy as Clione Deviltchi.

2/1/17Digimon Unlimited:Decided to finally try out the Digimon Unlimited app that I downloaded ages ago. I chose the Dragon's Roar egg and got a baby Dodomon. I fed him some meat and started checking things out. The stats menu has quite a lot of stuff so I'll just do a quick walkthrough of what's what. 1. Age/Weight 2. Hungry 3. Strength - The digimons version of the happy meter. 4. DP (Digimon Power) - Depletes when training/battling. When empty you can't train/battle. Refills when the Digimon sleeps. 5. Battle History - Number of battles won and fought with a win percentage. 6. Type/B/J - Type refers to if your digimon is virus, vaccine, or data type. B refers to the ability if your digimon can battle. J refers to the ability of jogress. 7. Evolution - Progress of your digimon to evolving. 8. Currency - Currently does nothing. I then did some training. This fills up the strength meter and uses up DP. There's 3 types of training that do different things. But I just needed to use the basic one called "Classic". In this training the power will start increasing and the goal is to hit the button once it's at 100%. Doing so will give your digi enough power to break the rock increasing strength. If the power is anything lower than 100% the training will fail and do nothing. Something important to know is that the number of times you've trained will affect certain stages of growth and when battling. There's no counter for this so you need to keep track. You should also train a TON. You'll be wanting to do training 150+ times to make sure your digi can defeat other opponents. Not too long after hatching my digi he became Demi Veemon (Chibimon). Theres many stages of growth but I'm going to call this the in-training stage. Here's how I'm going to refer to the growth stages: Baby > In-Training > Rookie > Champion > Ultimate > Mega > Ultra Every digimon evolves up to the Mega stage but only certain digimon can evolve beyond that to the Ultra stage. I was hoping to evolve my Demi Veemon into Veemon. To do so I needed to give him 3-5 penalty (or care miss). But when I woke up the next morning he already evolved into Agumon (S) the one with red belts around his arms. He isn't even 1 year old yet and he's evolved twice! I have no idea how it's going to be possible to get those 3-5 care misses in such a short amount of time. And that's just for getting the middle rookie! Each In-Training digimon can evolve into 3 Rookies. Rookie A: 2 or less penalty, Rookie B: 3-5 penalty, or Rookie C: 6+ penalty. After training a bunch I decided to try out battling. I had a tough time figuring this out. There's a battle icon that takes you online to find and battle someone else but we all know how horrible PVP would be. Battling is important as the number of times your digi battled and his win percentage will affect some growth stages. Luckily the 3rd type of training "Search" is actually for battling. You just scan a qr code of another digimon and the fight begins. But first it will have you shake your device to increase your digis power. Then you and your opponent will take turns attacking. Each digimon has 3 bars of health and there's 2 types of attacks. A strong attack shown as 2 icons deals 2 bars of damage and a weak attack shown as 1 icon deals 1 damage. Whenever a digimon is attacked there's a chance they'll face the opposite way dodging the attack. Around the age of 1 year he evolved again into Geo Greymon the Champion stage. Now to evolve him into the Ultimate stage I'll have to put in some extra effort. The Ultimate stage requires at least 30 battles and a penalty of no higher than 3. I did a bunch more training then did 31 battles just to be safe. I lost quite a few battles during the rookie stage but as a champion I won way more. Of course I was fighting a rookie stage the entire time. After 31 battles I had a win percentage of 74% which is decent. Devilgotchi:My devil evolved into Ghost Deviltchi from having low DP. Ghost Deviltchi: "Claims to be the most powerful of all the intermediate devils. Haunts the angels disguised as Obaketchi."

Some quick news. A 3rd Tamagotchi Mix version was just announced that will have Sanrio characters as well as new locations, minigames, and items based on the various Sanrio characters. It comes out on April 15th but it will probably be awhile before I can get one. I still have the new Tamagotchi mini and Digimon 20th anniversary virtual pets to get. I'm also pretty curious to see if the Sanrio Mix will have different baby, child, and teens than both the Mix and Mix Anniversary. Possibly even Sanrio character ones? There's also 2 more virtual pets coming out to buy that I previously forgot to mention. There's the Tamagotchi Mini (or Chibi). Which is a smaller than the original tamagotchi and has a smaller more simple growth chart. This Tamagotchi Mini isn't a new version it originally came out in 2005 with 3 she'll designs. For Tamagotchi's 20th Anniversary last November they re-released the Mini with 3 new shell designs. Digimon's 20th Anniversary is this year and to celebrate they released a Digimon 20th Anniversary virtual pet (or Digimon Ver.20th). It comes in 2 colors brown & blue and resembles the original Digimon vpet from 1997. Unlike the original this one has tons more stuff on it. Some new features include: Raising 2 digimon at once, faster evolution, now includes the mega stage, has more than 5 eggs to pick from (from the various versions of the older digimon vpets) with more hidden eggs, and includes special digimon Dracomon, Huckmon, and Zubamon.
